My Personal Review – By Mitch
So let’s get this straight. Why Turbo Fire? Why am I going to spend all this cash and dedicate the next three months of my life to this workout? Why Turbo Fire and not any other workout program that’s hot right now? These are all supremely valid questions, and the answer is simple: because Turbo Fire ROCKS.
Turbo Fire, ladies and gentlemen, gets me moving like nothing else. Chalene Johnson is the ultimate trainer, with her high energy, her endless optimism and support that just keeps you going long after you would think you’d drop. Combine her Cloud 9 attitude with her infectious humor, expertise and fitness knowledge, and you have a POWERHOUSE of a trainer.
Then there’s the music. I don’t know about you guys, but when I workout, I love having a great beat pounding and helping me move and groove. Working out in silence is not only dull, but it makes the workouts harder. Having Chalene’s custom tracks makes hitting those high energy moments all the easier, and I am 100% sure I would not survive the HIIT workout moments were it not for the infectious beats.
Which brings us to the High Intensity Interval Training themselves. If you want to burn calories like I do, then nothing will be as great as the HIIT workouts. Stop putting endless hours onto the those treadmills. Stop wasting your time trundling along on the ellipticals. What you need to do is ramp your exercise level to 110%, create some serious oxygen debt, and then burn those calories for long after you’ve finished your workout. Seriously, I thought the HIIT workouts were going to be the death of me, but now I LOVE them, because after you burn with a HIIT workout, nothing seems as intense or thrilling. Once you go HIIT, you’re sold.
What else though? What else separates this workout from all the others? For me, it’s the class feeling. You’re front and center in an awesome crowd of high energy, upbeat people that you can just take so much inspiration from. These men and women are in ridiculous great form, sculpted and lean and beautiful, with bodies that would make the Greeks swoon, and there they are giving testament to how great a workout this is. If you like to workout alone then maybe you should stick to your basement, but if like me you take motivation and inspiration from a crowd of amazing athletes and fitness professionals, than Turbo Fire is for you!
